Damn it, every time i see a nice asti i want one.

Don't forget to pull the roof light and check for rust since the car is black.
Its not hard to fix if you get it early in, fact you can do it yourself.

I think only the 0000 Mirage Gen2s have the issue of roof rust, our 2 01 revisions dont have a spot of it :D Jeffs is a 01 revision

Oh true! Forgot to mention that Terri haha - its gonna be a MANUAL soon :D :D :D Cant wait haha.

Roof rust? Wow you guys know so much about these sorta things aye.. How can you tell its an 01 revision, Cameron? Actually, first of all, what is an 01 revision or an 0000 version mirage for that matter  I didnt even know there were different versions of gen 2's! I thought Gen 2's were a revision of the Gen 1? hmmm, guess im wrong lol.

Are there any other things apart from rust i should keep an eye out for?

Yeah your Chassis number is CJ4A 01005??, You will see a shiny plate on your firewall which will have this stamped into it :D (Its by the Trans code)

The Gen2 Mirages went through revisions

Oct 95 - Oct 96 was CJ4A 0000????
Nov 96 - Nov 97 was CJ4A 0100????
Dec 98 - End 2000 was CJ4A 0200???? (had different front bumper and wing)

0000 ZRs didnt get ABS as a standard feature, but mainly the 01 RS mirages got the most benifits ot of the revision

Whoa, theres an ASTI ZR club within the mivec forums! Awesome :D Its manual now and I'm still getting used to it but its great so far. Just gonna let the clutch wear in a bit more before I really let it rip! There is so much more useable torque between 1000-4000rpm, the thing just gets up and go, unlike before when torque converter had to get going first! Thanks again Cam :D
